The First Thing

The easiest habit for me will be the first habit, begin with the end in mind.  I am wonderful at setting goals for myself.  In fact, sometimes I set goals which are quite out of reach.  However, when I set a goal, I put my heart into it and  I will not give up.  The most difficult habit for me will be the third habit, viewing problems as challenges to be overcome.  My first instinct when a problem occurs is to call it a crisis and act accordingly.  I get overwhelmed and stressed out.  However, eventually I calm myself down and create a solution.  My new favorite saying is:  "It is what it is".  In other words, accept the problem and DEAL with it!

  2. I also said that viewing problems as challenges was going to be my toughest habit. I get so stressed over the smallest things! Thanks for your quote. "It is what it is."

  4. I also think that viewing problems as challenges is hard for me. I have a hard time viewing challenges as learning experiences. It is great to know that I am not alone in this area :)

  5. I love your quote, "It is what it is." It really sums up what I have learned over the years about dealing with problems and life in general. My mother use to tell me "If it isn't life or death, it isn't really worth fretting about." And, she was right! (Oh my! That was really hard to admit! lol)
